I just need two shoes (one red and one blue) that are under 50 bucks cause my old basketball shoes are getting worn out (adidas Men's Bounce Artillery II Basketball Shoe.) They have to be stylish and be a quality shoe for basketball standards. Thank you.....FYI.....I love Finishline shoes/ Nike. Eastbay not so much, but some. Please, I really need some new shoes.

Throughout the use of my previous pair of basketball shoes, I've noticed a strong odor seeping from the shoes. Every time I put on the shoes, I would have to wash my fingers because of the lingering scent. I've recently bought a new pair of basketball shoes and I was hoping to prevent the smelliness this time around. Any hints? I've been told that since I wear low cut socks, the sweat from my feet/legs can still be absorbed by the fabrics of my shoes. As a result, would wearing higher cut socks necessarily help?

The floor at my school appears to be regular hardwood. I don't know what the problem is. I just bought two new pairs, one of them was a bargain deal on some K-Swiss basketball shoes and the others were the Gilbert Arenas shoes. Neither of them grip very well and it takes from my quickness. Nobody else seems to be having this problem. I don't know if its me or the shoes. Has anyone ever encountered this while playing and do you know of any remedies, like can I rub something on the bottom of my shoes to help them grip better? Or do I just need to get new shoes and if so what do I look for when buying them so I know they grip well to the floor.

What are the best mens basketball shoes this year that i can wear for my high school summer basketball tournaments and league? What do you think are the best shoes for comfort and all that?
